Default Dusty

We too have had Saharan dust here...but our TV suggested that the Aussie stuff is from the interior of your continental land mass.

Default Bulldust from Canberra

This Sydney dust is caused by the new cattle they are breeding in Canberra.

Smile Sydney Dust Storm

I listen to Sydney radio at work (online) and yesterday morning the breakfast shift team were bitching about the dust. News buletins were full of advice about not breathing it in, taking precautions, etc etc.
So I sent them this e-mail:
"Dear Jonsey & Amanda, and all in Sydney,
Don't worry about the dust storm, it's OK. Here in Wagga Wagga we are doing our bit to help you. We are throwing cement powder up into the air, so that by the time it gets to Sydney it is well mixed, Go outside, breathe it in, and HARDEN UP!"
Thankfully they did not take offence and even read it out. They thought I was implying that they were being a bit woosie. Do you think?
