The wonderful steaks that those last Two 4 legged Horn carriers posted By Lynn will make on a barberque!!.
Question for Dirk or Stefan, Can you buy the Short projecter as a seperate part and replace the Long projector just by unbolting the old one and re bolting the new one. Looking at the Two part numbers the early CAB 11 and the later cab 13, the last part of the Horn part number is the same?. As the Long horn works but only needs a short projector seems sense to just swap the front section. Any thoughts on the practicality please. ![]() |

My cab 12 F8 came with the short type of horn but maybe changed along the way? Or maybe they changed mid/late 1941?
Question re connection - the horn has only one terminal - presumably for the battery 6v connection? How then is the horn wired to the steering column button? Do I take the column wire to one of the bolts in the body of the horn, assuming that the horn attachment is electrically insulated from the frame such that pressing the button will complete the circuit? |

You can probably change the trumpet, as the PCD is common to a variety of horns.
