... and here some pics of the Anti Tank Carrier. She was stuck in 3rd gear, therefore the gearbox was opended "in the field" and repaired. She drove afterwards beautifully.

greetings

Default carrier pics

Hi Chris, thanks for the pics. I really like the LP1, what a great looking carrier. How many LP1's are there left in existence running or not ? David.

Hi Dave,
here are some more photos of the interior for you to look at. I know of 3 LP1's that are in running order in Australia and there are some old cut down hulls that have turned up lately.
Regards Rick.

Tiller steering..Interesting..more like the T-16 than the Universal Carrier..
with the three bogie track like the Universal..rather than the four bogie track of the T-16..
Interesting..
And damned pretty..nice job on both of them..

Excellent thanks Rick, must be nice to own and drive a rare piece of Australian history. What do you prefer to drive steering wise, skid or warp steering. I suppose with these machines in North Africa they must have been hard on the brakes and hubs. Also could you tell me what the tool is that is mounted on the rear of the storage boxto the rear drivers side please. look a bit like calibers. Thanks David.
