Cheers Ronald, i must try to get my hands on a copy of the 'Bedford to Berlin' book and although not mine i have borrowed a drivers book and maintenace manual from the place i work (RAF Museum Lonodn), they do make for some very interesting reading!
The only problem i have is that at some time post war a Bedford Diesel lump and air brakes have been fitted, not sure to keep them or try and convert back?

Hello

Scanned my copy of the Driver's Handbook, and uploaded it to a Photo upload site, feel free to copy all 35 scans, the link: http://www.crawlaround.mijnalbums.nl/ (you can change the language)
New Albums, Cat: Other, Country: Netherlands, Town: Groningen, you'll probably see the cover by now.

Cheers Ronald

Just a few years late, but a couple of old pics of my wagons. First one is pinched off the net, but still the QLT I bought.

Why have you down graded the weight from 9 to 8 tons; is that because you no longer take the wife out in it?

One on the left is my QLT and the one on the right is my QLD but with an RL rear fitted.
Also has a 330 diesel lump and air brakes fitted (Not the aircraft type!).

Been a while since I've managed to check and work on them but looking at getting sorted for next year and possibly full restoration on QLT end of next year.
QLD I'm thinking or changing the rear to proper QLD configuration, but may keep the Diesel lump for now.

Wouldn't have these toys and a BSA M20 if I was married anymore
