Hello Richard, I'm afraid i won't be at W&P (Missed it for ANOTHER year! ), but i will be at Upminster and Detling, will you be going to either of those?

IF you could find them lined up like this these days you could take your pick, I am sure this is Luton factory with a batch awaiting delivery

Thank you for posting up some front shots of the trucks. They certainly look like they were built to do business. Did they normally have just one headlight or has one been taken off - as the bracket is still there?

Default What's that?

What is it that is mounted forward of the r/h windscreen on the lead vehicle? Some type of signage folded down maybe?

Hi Dave,

That is a shelf in front of drivers screen, it was painted with gas detection paint.

And Lionel, British MV's built during the war were only fitted with one headlamp.

Thought i would resurrect this thread as I’ve now got my hands on the QLD i mentioned at the start of this thread. Really pleased with it and I’m afraid I’ll be back here again to pick peoples brains!
But first, anyone know where i can get my hands on tyres for it in the UK?
