Alex,
The CMP mirrors appear to be copied from the British WD 1924 Pattern mirror, which was still in use and obtainable from RAOC stores in the 1970's. The Ferret in British service was probably the last use of them. Manufacured by Desmo, Raydyot, etc, they had slight manufacturing differences between them. I think some of these vintage motor spares suppliers have found WD ones and chromed them for the vintage car market as they are typical of the era.
