We've seen this one before on page 5 of this thread, here on MLU and on eBay.

Believed by some enthusiasts to have started out as a HUP Radio Body kitted out as living quarters.Two good sand tyres 10 x 50 x 16.Does run, but engine needs tuning. Loss of storage forces sale. £2500 ono.

I was surprised to see this Hanno,

I was contacted by a collector in Eastern Europe last year who said that money had changed hands and the truck was on it's way to him, looks like the deal fell through. I hope it finds a good home this time round

For sale No 12 Cab Chevrolet Older restoration ,relined Brake cylinders rebuilt starter motor ,mechanical fuel pump electronic ignition installed ,it has a recently re-cored radiator I have had the second fuel tank rebuilt, the storage box between cab and body has been rebuilt . The vehicle was previously meticulously rebuilt by an experienced and knowledgeable restorer . It will need a new canvas tilt which reflects in price £6,600 ono and yes its been reduced for a quick sale UK sale only located near Newbury. Hi Colin,

I bought the little C8 a couple of years ago from Ed Sayers who had bought it from R&R at war and Peace. Its currently having the engine and gearbox rebuilt.
I was wondering if you have any further information on it?

Vintage Canadian Ford 1942 ex army wagon - has a lot of original features The Rare Cab 13 - sloping windscreens - V8 engine - observation opening in cab roof - hand semaphore signal for left hand turns! - partially rewired - converted from original 6 volt to 12 volt electrics - original side and tail lights - Army style body - As spare Wheel - Dry stored for many years a lot of work as been done on this truck - cab welded up all welding work done - reconditioned water pumps - needs seats upholstering and inside cab painting etc it ran lovely into this shed 8 years ago - never been run since - put petrol in before new year and a battery on it - it turns over freely - fires up - but a bit of damp about the distributor so it pops and bangs a bit as yet - will have another tinker with it when i can - Needs a bit of TLC But - a very nice unusual little truck - measures approx 14 foot long by 7 foot wide - 7ft 2 inch High -This vehicle will have done very little millage from new - only run in civilian life for 3 years once a week by a local farmer into market with a cattle wagon body on it - stood in a barn till we bought it 20 years ago.- Has original brown log book only - please contact to arrange viewing
