More fun, ahhh so this is what you do with 5 carbs... get them all good and have them ready to change out... Also pics of the finished gauges and dash... Also modifying the jack holder in the engine compartment for the larger harvey frost jack...

Lance, did you need to source parts (diaphragms and gaskets) for the Solex carbs?
The early british carrier carb uses the same choke assy and I wondered if bits were still available.

Lynn all of my carbs were NOS, just going through them and checking them out and modifying 2 to use with my HSC since I don't have the 2 speed control box and these are really not the correct ones for the HSC. I picked up all of them off of Ebay a few years ago, my mechs have made the gaskets etc. if I needed something new, Do you need some parts, diaphragms etc.?

Hi Lance, just looking for a source of parts (in particular the diaphragm)
Not needing anything yet, and certainly not asking you for your spares. There is a lot of commonality between these carbs. I assume your ones are ferret ones. the early british carrier carbs are from memory RZNIP or RZINP model They are a governed single barrel with an adapter to the V8 Manifold. I also have a NOS two barrel one at home, that I think is a Loyd carrier carb. An old guy advised me not to use the original Solex, on a carrier, if I want a decent turn of power.

Lynn,
Yes, I really need 40 RZINEO, the ones that I have found are 35-40 RZ-42 (which work for HSC and the HAC, but have to slightly modify the linkage or use an adapter plate to turn it) Dirk L (lwdparts.com) has the ones that you are looking for for sale complete, I will look at my other sources for some rebuild/gasket kits for you: Carburetor Brengun Carrier Mk I Loyd Carrier Mk I & II Part no. Solex type: 40RZINP Price: € 145,00
