Default engine position

Here is a picture of the engine ( well, the absence of ) that came with the truck, no transmission either. The tubing leading off the fitting looks rather large for grease and is a flared fitting.

Not to pick favourites, but your suggestion might be the winner. The piping would be what one would expect for an air line.
