Just a wee tip
your pipes should be undersized then enlarged again at the end
or with the engine movement you make break the manifolds
also why the heavy duty flanges I think they should be 1/4 inch
it makes them easier to install without taking the studs out
Just my opinion (Again) !
I also recognize those hands cutting them off

Hi Stew, Valid points, what I have found with the bottom castings is that after 70 odd years they can vary in inside diameter vastly, once cleaned up, grit blasted etc, if you were to have the ends produced and sent to you as per original spec they may well rattle around in there, so its up to the individual to finish the ends to suit there casting. I think you can still fit a nut on the original studs?, these are thicker as I have seen a lot of warped flanges, but only by 5mm.

Kevin matey, did you post the bits in the end, as nothing has arrived yet ? Just concerned in case they have been swallowed up by the postal machine :-)

Rich, not yet, only picked up the flanges today, going to be a couple of weeks to fit in with work and family.
