Carrier wiring diagram plate
In the operating instructions UC-F1 section R pg 22 para 68.
" Mount the wiring diagram plate (not shown on drawings) on the forward engine cover plate, using four 1/4-20 x 1/2 long round head machine screws nuts and lock washers. This engine cover must be drilled in the field to take the plate, and the necessary holes should be made so that they clear the asbestos metal retaining strip located on the inside of the cover" And that's the answer.
