Ford F15 with 4 new tyres, all new brake wheel cylinders and master cylinder. Had a full service last August, engine has done about 2000 miles from rebuild. New Canvas roof on the cab Runs and drives ok Good condition for its age.

That looks like a useful vehicle for events.
Any ideas on the radio box? Is it a modified Canadian body, or maybe postwar Austin, Morris...? The shape of the top looks different from a Canadian body, also roof sits higher and windows are somewhat different.

Age has caught up with me and the time has come to offer my very original Chevrolet Wireless truck for sale. It has done less than 10,000 miles from new. As far as I can tell it was never issued and was released from the MoD in 1947 with 500 miles on the clock. It was privately owned before being purchased by a military vehicle museum, from where I bought it 21 years ago.
The vehicle is right-hand drive with a beautiful wooden steering wheel. It comes with its four original, 1942-dated, part-worn, run-flat tyres plus one good spare. The original tyres were replaced with bar-tread tyres which are in excellent condition. The truck is equipped with a No.19 radio set, original operator’s head-set, antennae, a set of snow chains (unused), jack, starting handle, radiator muff, stainless steel exhaust, shovel, original 1942-dated detailed maintenance manual and a modern towing bar.

It is mechanically very sound with a recon V8 engine from a bren gun carrier,the body has been rebuilt and the cab is tidy but would benefit from a bit of tlc, buyers are welcome to view. I am selling this for a friend. The lorry is in Ashford Kent. Cash or cleared cheque only. £8000 ovno

You are correct. Sadly, the last two consecutive owners passed away, this is why it is on the market again.
