As a post war piece, I have no doubt it's tolerances were worn smooth from drill after drill. Any idea of the production numbers of these guns?

I have found very little info on this Model so although I know they were manufactured in smaller numbers compared with earlier Marks I don't have the production final numbers. |

Rob. Very nice work as always.
Considering this piece of artillery went through at least five marks, either it was a very popular piece in its day, or the powers that be spent an amazing amount of time and energy trying to get it right! Have you any indications what finally prompted its replacement (other than the Gunners basic love for things that make a bigger bang). ![]() David |
