Not too often are there multiple M151A2 convoys on the road in Canada these days

Looking forward to next year!
I have to admit your pictures got in my head. My M151A2 is hors de combat waiting for the gas tank to be re-recoated, and that was on my mind as I looked at your shots. But last night I actually had a dream about driving mine without the gas tank! I think I was channelling Gunner Mike's carrier boat gas tank-theme, because in my drowsiness the Jeep's fuel tank was a 500ml water bottle of gasoline with the pickup line poked in the top.

I have a pile of about 20 tanks out in the field where I stripped these jeeps 27 years ago. Shame you are located so far away.

For what it's worth, the boat tank is probably safer than stock tank

Plus you can take it with you when you park, defeating any gas thieves.

If Eric gets his going soon we'll be able to give the Iltis guys a run for their money

But your boat tanks won't have the emission controls of the original M151A2 tank. It will completely make your charcoal canister useless.
