It's a standard spares box and was produced to be installed in a range of vehicles.The holes in the back of the box allow it to be bolted to the aft face of the firewall under the dash on the 3/4 ton and 1-1/2 ton Dodge WCs.
The Studebaker US6 has brackets under the glove box that this box can be bolted to using the top set of holes. David
