I would be very interested to hear how the Australian carriers got over to the States, as a lot of there own equipment was left behind.
I purchased a South Australian LP2A # 2674, from John Bizal at Midwest Military about 18 months ago and I'm currently restoring it. I have read a couple of threads on the subject and I'm half way through reading "Combat Officer" by Charles H Walker. He has mentioned Bren gun carriers several times already, but are they Australian or New Zealand? Passed threads have said NZ carriers, but if they are 1024x768_bestfit (22).jpg NZ, how did my South Australian carrier get to the States? Picture of when I got the carrier and current state ( a quick coat of paint for the local ANZAC day service) Regards Sean. htc 270414 116.jpg
