Dear Mike,

knowing Canada there might have been a kit developed to turn any infantry APC version into an ambulance role, these might have been part of that. bear in mind the Canadian M113s have been around the block a few times.

That is my suspicion, but good to know and thanks for adding your comment, I appreciate the input.
