Default and by the way

Here is my Second CGT that I bought last year, also from Norway, it took about 15 min for me to decided to buy it, even though it was some 2500km from where I live and 350 km north of the arctic circle, but it turned out that the shipping to Denmark was actually pretty cheap.
It was restored from bad condition back in the late eighties, by three young guys, using what they could find of original parts and the rest they made.
They restored it to their best effort but in the time before internet and MLU forum, they didn't have access to the same amount of reference material and parts as now, so I have adding/replacing parts on it, and are still missing some things, slowly but surely its getting there, I hope to be adding the roof vent hatch's and spare wheel clamp later this summer.
and then at some point a repaint..... its a bit to frog green for my taste.

and here are some more. The floor is modern alu dock plate, which I would like to replace at some point, but I need the driver and passenger foot well pieces, if anybody has some to spare.

That's a lovely truck, Niels!
It seems the frames for the roof vents are still there on the inside of the body (?). I am afraid I can't help you with floor plates in original pattern; although I think the alu ones shouldn't look too bad for the time being, if you put some paint on them.

Hi Alex
Thanks. no its just the cab frame you can see. The roof hatches is attached via an angle iron frame on the outside.
Yes the floor needs painting, and I need to fit the winch handbrake.
I am thinking about repainting it SCC 15 Olive drab, since it was rebuild in 44, but would still like a bit of wavy black on it, but I am not entirely sure that's correct.
An interesting thing about it is that in some places has Ford parts e.g. the rear winch guide and drive for the winch

Checking the pics and Im just wondering what are these (see pics) roof brackets for? Never seen them on others FATs.
Thanks!

Those brackets are for attaching the firing platform of a 25 pdr.
They where also fitted to the early Morris, as seen on the picture.
I can not remember ever seeing a picture with a FAT with the platform on the back, I guess because it would have been bloody heavy lifting to get it up there for the crew,
I think they where removed towards the end of the war, but could be wrong
