One of the township historic societies has a project to post the original land allotment survey maps on line. I will ask my surveyor colleague which township. He knew all the terminology on the land titles to the amazement of the historical people. The only difficulty he had was reading the longhand manuscript.

It may be that the municipal policy regarding the bilingualism is not the same as the federal or provincial government.
