Hi Bob,
It's funny to see all those detail differences...my C8 does have the hooks, but no signs of the limiting straps ever being fitted. So, I basically have "carte blanche" to drive with the doors fully open like you  .Alex

My first CPM was a Cab 11 Ford, and the damage to the doors from swinging open and hitting the trim piece on the cargo box was very apparent. Used more than a few tire weights melted onto the surface of the door to level it out.
