Default Brackets

I've not seen them either on any Australian or the fully imported F15 cab 13s either, but I wonder whether they may be something to do with supporting the de-misting setup on some later Canadian built Ford cabs.

Jim. Is it perhaps just my eyes, or are those bolts spring loaded as if to keep something in a 'home position' but also permitting some limited movement?

I have the shroud so that's not it.

Here is a tube video of the motor running, it has a 1943 Ford rebuild tag on it.
