Can anyone tell me what a radiator with the part no. LC81T-5. was made for, dated 3-43.
Thanks in advance.

No idea, Lynn, but C81T is the part number for a 1938 Ford Commercial Truck, and this part number radiator was used in Trucks up to the 1941 model. The LP2 parts lists suggest that the same radiator (with "S" Suffix) was used in Carriers, but elsewhere on another thread we have read that Trucks/MCP used a different radiator to Carriers, so I dunno.
![]() And as for the "L" prefix in LC81T, that's just pure mystery! ![]() |

I just wondered if it was a Loyd carrier radiator?
I understand that the LP2 family of carriers uses the medium height bottom spigots, which is carrier specific. Correct? The Canadian Carrier rad. has a UC prefix, so that one is easy.

Could you throw a picture up please lynn? Someone might be able to tell you what it is if they can have a shufty at it. Also, ask Brett Hopkins what the part number on his loyd's radiator is, although I am unsure whether his is an original rad or not.
