Nice photos Ed. I would imagine those may well be the two stacked on the pallet. When time permits I'll have to check them for simlar shrapnel wounds.
It should be easy to make a real good one out of the two reasonably complete ones. One of them only has slight shrapnel damage. I even saw some nice paint samples on one of drawbars. But in the end the decision on whether to restore or preserve will fall on the curator. Personally, I don't believe that damage outside of it's original service needs to be preserved. If the hubs form the 18 pounder limber are the same, we may have those cast to make up wheels for these. As well, another museum has expressed interest. |

At least you have them back under control, and can make some informed decisions on how much effort to invest in their condition.
