These brackets are made to hold the sterling, which is your typical tube gun with a 1-1/2" diameter tube. The clips are fairly tight, so they would work to a smaller diameter as well. If you like, I could grab a SMG mount form the shed and try it on one of my Bren tripods (I assume that is what you mean by "quadrant"...my old English is not so good).

Lynn, those items are called Terry Clips, and are readily either as GENUINE or PROBABLE CHINESE COPIES.

Some are available with a latex/PVC dip coating, but that wouldn't be too hard to apply by yourself

Hi Rob, If you can, then my concern is sorted. (I thought they were referred to as a quadrant, because the non legged frame looks like a slice out of a round pizza)........... Tripod works for me as well, just on't go into French

Tony, Thank you, but they look a bit light?

Lynn

Far be it for me, a mere heathen colonial, to correct the Queen's homeland English......your terminology may well be correct in the old world.

I'll check when I get home tonight.

The genuine ones, in the mid-range size you need, will be thicker gauge.
