Thanks Mike, yes, you are correct it is for the man pack part of the deal. Upon checking the belt fits perfectly to the 22 set and the water proof 22 set carry box. After seeing the ebay price I will have to crank up my price.

The zip-around canvas cover looks similar to the one for the SR B70 (or HP311) radio relay set, but it's impossible to tell from the lack of measurements. (Quite apart from the fact I don't have one of those sets to be able to measure it.)

More likely to be off some Australian kit, though.

Default Look what i just got given.

A WW2 civilan gas mask NOS (Perfect Condition) still in its original box. Any idea of how rare this?

The story goes that it was the fellows mothers issued to her during the War.
