The divided wheel stud/nut is 7/8"BSF. (7/8"-11tpi) And similar sized/age British vehicles the wheel stud is 5/8"BSF (5/6"-14tpi). This also includes 25Pdr, Limber and Bofors guns. |

One of the Morris CS8 wrecks here came fitted with brass wheel nuts. They look identical to the steel nuts in shape and size. I won't be fitting the brass nuts on any of my vehicles, I'd be worried about them failing and a wheel coming off.
BTW I think the monstor Dodge of J Belfield has White scout car axles ?

Thanks Euan, have only a couple on each LH wheel. Pretty sure Johnny has long moved on from the White Scout Car setup he once used, but may have used a blitz front end at one stage with the Gm 4/53. Possibly running inter front end now. Thanks for your help.

Johnny told me that the Leyland Brothers were so impressed with his, that they decided to get one built for themselves and it was subsequently featured in their films.
