Thanks to the photos of measurements from Russ Gregg there is no guessing and they are coming together as good as I can make them.

Colin, here they are. Both good condition with bulbs and good reflectors. The red one has a small dent in the reflector but only minor. It also had one half of the ball mount missing on the bottom but fairly easy to make for a man of your talents! Focusing knobs move ok too.

I have been working on the gun elevator and made a press tool to form the barrel protectors as they are quite thick.

I found an old 3"dia shaft to make the Besa barrel end and have almost finished one complete unit.

I just noticed the other photos are up side down and I have no idea why and don't know how to change them.

If you're interested colin, i know some folk (as does Jack neville) who are very experienced in making gas fire simulators, who i'm sure would be able to make your machine guns sound and look very convincing, if you're interested that is...
