Its from a Swiss T-16. They had plates that bolted onto the original wading skirt positions. Some to hold top bows and others like that one to enable the top to be rope lashed down.

 with his final markings: 114 Artillery Battalion, Platoon B, Belgian Piron Brigade 1944 + test on road ok
