Well spotted!
Abbassia is a suburb of Cairo. Well known to Australians in the First World War, as it was the location of an Australian hospital. Also very close to the rail network that runs between Suez-Cairo-Alexandria, which was used for transporting hospital patients between those locations in addition to all the military gear being ferried around the place. Sensible location for an ordnance workshop hub. Mike |
