Hanno, I have a fellow D15 owner friend, who told me to watch the 1950's movie "Sea of Sand".
Its about a LRDG mission during WW2.
There are a number of possible D15s in the movie playing a prominent role as LRDG trucks. We have had a squabble about whether the D15s in the movie have been chopped up to look like the famous LRDG Chevies or if the D15 really was actually used for raiding by the LRDG.
I am firmly of the opinion that the the dodges have been "chevvified" for the film as the historical accuracy in the rest of the movie is a little off point.
E.G. Germans chasing the LRDG column in US international halftracks equipped with Bren guns.

As always I am happy to be proven wrong, and would love to see some photos of a "real" LRDG D15 even if the silly beggars had taken a hacksaw to those beautiful curves!

Anyway, its enjoyable movie if you can see past some of the questionable hardware.

A few screenshots for you to debate....
