What areas of Argentina would the Army have needed to install the cold weather equipment in their CMP’s?

As I have commented on other occasions, it seems that we receive tons of leftover parts from World War II, and many have never been placed or changed in the vehicles. It seems to be the case of these exhaust pipes, which were new in wooden crates, of course the wood deteriorated after a long time, but they are unused parts. What David asks, I would say that the Andes and Patagonia have extreme climates, but not as cold as the arctic, that is why they must not have had heating, nor do I think they knew that this had arrived to be installed and used for heat.
