The lower photo is quite definitely a Humber, confirmed by a couple of details. The text is very confusing as it mostly refers to a Daimler Dingo scout car apart from the reference to two fuel tanks and a capacity of about 4 times larger.

To confuse the issue still further, it is clear from several of my references concerning the Malayan Emergency that the Humber Scout Car was often referred to as a Dingo.
The real Dingoes often had a turret installed as a local Malayan modification, as the open roof was vulnerable.
