I have a couple of Firestone 9.00-13, but they are not a desert/sand pattern. I have never seen a Dominion or Goodrich WW2 pattern, Dunlop seems to be the most common.

Scott,

Attached are some more images from the Design Record.

I do not know for certain, but I believe it is likely the the “distinct” tread designs from the various manufacturers were standard amongst the different tire sizes (Tony’s Firestone 9.00-13 tread appears the same as the Firestone 10.50-16 shown below).

While Sand Tread tires are mentioned in the design record, they receive little attention, are not detailed in the comparison charts, and there is only the attached image (in the Tire and Wheel Data section).

Default tires

thanks again for all the great info. Tires have become a big Headache for me. I can use 14' instead of 13" rims as there are more tire options however tires still all look to modern. Just kills the look. thanks
