I can see that it maybe has a reproduction body. Not a bad effort by any standard. The original pattern 'checker' plate they used on the floor during WW2 is is not available now, I used the common diamond style plate, it is the only style I could find.
The welding along the full length of the floor where it meets the sides is something I have not seen - the welds should be a series of short welds about 2" long, not one continuous long weld. The tailgate looks nice but the gauge of steel looks a bit too heavy. I used the plans/drawings that were kindly supplied by a chap in the UK, Ian Richardson , back in the 'snail mail' days, Ian measured up the original 1A2 body on the C8 that I believe Nick Bullock still owns.
