I’m just curious about the circumference of the top round guard. I measured Gord’s and I know it’s 1/2 inch metal and I can figure out height and clamps from the photo but not sure how wide the diameter of the top ring should be made.
I’ve searched the forum’s and can’t find any measurements on this cage. I was hoping somebody could measure their cage for measurements. Otherwise next time I’m out at your place or Gord’s I can take measurements. Thanks,Derk

I don't have one here to measure but ALL the real ones that I have seen are made from 1/2" x 1/8" black steel (ie. with slightly rounded edges) as in Ron's photos in post #7. I suspect that the one in post#1 is a repro as it looks to be made of 1/2" x 3/16" bar.
