Default Length

How long is the bolt ?

: Can you measure the length of the middle section where the two holes are and the threaded section length ?

Will be useful to know the dimensions - if anybody else needs one of these special bolts, we will have a reference.

Default Attempt ?

Haven't used my lathe for so long, needed some practice.

This is a prototype...it's too long, I need the proper measurements. A 9/16 unf nut fits on it snug.

The bolt arrived and is 9/16 national fine thread so it is not a match. The bolt i got from Robert is definitely 18 threads per inch.

Hi Larry

I’m confused now. 9/16 unf is 18 tpi.. I wrote earlier, there's a good chance it is 1/4 National Pipe , which is 18 TPI.

I still need a critical measurement: the length from the shoulder to the end.

This is my attempt but it' was done flying blind .

That length is 1.120 inch. The bolt you made looks awesome.
Cheers
