August 1940 that is very early..... now production did not get in the real swiing of things until Winter 1940..... my cab 11 is around mid May 1940...... and no doubt production went faster than the manuals could be produced. Now how do we explain a 1940 ID tag on a 42/43 vehicle???? some public servant was asleep at the switch again..... Any earlier manual in existence somewhere???? Bob
