Werner Oswald's book, Kraftfahrzeuge und Panzer der Reichswehr, Wehrmacht und Bundeswehr, give it as 1955 to 1961.

A vehicle much favoured by some re-enactors as it looks suitably German WWII in panzergrau and fools some of the people most of the time. . . . . . . . . .
