bit of a question
I have 4 13 inch rims of two varieties The first just has two halves without holding bolts The second has multiple holding bolts like there bigger cmp brothers On others I have only seen the first variety Are the second ring-ins or are they originals and just another c8 anomaly ![]()

Andrew, Have you checked to see that these wheels still fitted are not just on inside out?
Looking at the photo of the wheel on the axle, it looks to me to have 12 weld marks . If that's the case then the wheel is on ar** about ti*. Rick

spot on rick
checked earlier this arvo and could only see the brake backing plate Just pulled the wheel off and discovered the other adapter/spacer plate which allows nuts to clear on inside ,same rims ![]() Found out later from tony that the c8 and f8 actually have the bolt heads on the inside

c8 fuel tank questions
-On my c8 it has the front fuel tank mount (the one with the handbrake linkages on it )as seen on a 1a2 bodied c8 but not the rear one(has the bolt holes there) -Did any of the australian bound ones have the 1a2 body or the 1b1 or were they all duple ? -Are that variety of fuel tank 1 large fuel tank or are there 2 end to end ? (in the cab there is a fuel tank change over valve) -In the third attached picture it shows standard cmp fuel tank brackets fitted . This would be a later tack on wouldnt it ? Thanks ![]()

Max made a discovery today about the mystery bracket as shown earlier in the thread
apparently it is used to hold the toolbox or spare tyre carrier (the ones made of wood ) from hitting on the cab Good detective work max ![]()

Not this type then, as the bracket would be somewhere through the middle of the tyre!?!?
