Hi All,
Just a few comments : Over the years I have picked up a few NOS cab 11/12 parts e.g., cab 11 windscreens wrapped up in the original shipping paper ( from Bill Drew ) and NOS cab 12 headlight shells . The factory paint finish on these parts was a semi - gloss medium green.. NOT 100% matt or flat in any sense. At a guess , the finish is about 40% gloss / 60% flat .. if that makes any sense . The NOS Ford cab 12 doors I found had the same semi-gloss khaki green painted straight over the bare metal.. no primer . The inside surfaces of the C8 door panels were bare metal, no paint at all.
