Default UC drive parts

Anyone out there looking for UC axle, sprockets, track,-- in fact complete drive-train minus engine. This is a carrier minus (as per the norm!) the upper armour and gutted inside (no engine, engine covers, drivers compartment, etc. -- all of this is gone) EXCEPT for the drive-train out to the track which is all there.
Let me know ASAP if your interested,
Peter

Default carrier parts

Where is the carrier located? I might be interested if not too far away! However, I live in Phoenix Arizona, usually far away from everything!

Default UC parts location

Sorry I forgot to include location -- kind of critical!
These parts are located in South Easten Ontario in Canada. They are very accessible, and not deep in the bush somewhere.

migmatic,
What condition are the bogie wheels and tracks in? And what would be the price of this vehicle?

Well I'll tell you this stuff is going for roughly $300.00Cdn.--basically scrap value! The condition of the track is very good. As it sits on the carrier there is no sagging (less weight obviously!). I don't know the condition of the pins, etc. but they look OK. Springs appear fine.
The boggies seem good little rust mostly still painted green/rubber looks good, axle looks fine, sprocket teeth don't look very worn. The only interior part is the steering post and part of the steering wheel, some linkages and that's all. Let me know if your interested because it will go for scrap if no one takes it. Put it this way if I had a carrier I would buy this in a flash for all drive-train parts.

One of us should take the damned thing regardless... a set of tracks and running gear is well worth that money!

Peter, post with the approx location so we can work out approx tspt charges.

Thanks,

Geoff

Default parts

Geoff! we meet.
(I have been a closet MLU reader for awhile.)
I live in Kingston and the vehicle is near-by. I'am sure there is someone who needs this stuff-- if not now sooner or later. My feeling is once it's gone--it's gone, so save what we can now!

Default carrier parts vehicle

migmatic,
I am interested in the vehicle, but wouldn"t be able to pick it up until the middle of May. Who do I contact about buying it? Or am I buying it from you? Also, what is $300 CDN in U.S. dollars? I would be able to come up there after the Aberdeen Show in Maryland.
Thanks Rod Shaver

Peter

I have a 1941 carrier on the west coast in need of tracks and bogie wheels. Have made most of the armour already!
Travelling to Toronto early July to pick up a Cab 13 CGT rear body. Would be able to take carrier to Vancouver then! Have 12 feet of extra space on the trailer. Could arrange temporary storage in Newtonville, Ontario. If it is not already sold I am very interested in it! It would help put another Canadian carrier on the road. Western Command has 3 carriers in the club, 1 finished, 1 very nice one about half completed with armour and mine.
