Default Scotland, one remaining C15A and spares for sale

I was out at the farm today, and Hamish Taylor still has his C15A water tanker for salein Denny, central Scotland, plus some other odds and ends.

http://www.gwim2.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/C15AT1.jpg

Original C15A water tanker chassis / cab, driving order but fuel system needs looked at, all complete except for left hand fuel tank and chequer plate cover.

Morris Commercial 200 gallon tank to suit above, 1941, CS8A (I think) basically complete tank with a smallish section broken off the top lid hatch cover, has side frames and filter bodies and some plumbing.

Both the above asking £2000, has to be a good deal. Would consider selling separately but would prefer to sell as a pair.

Hamish also has a Chevrolet stripped block and intact gearbox which could be sold separately of added tot eh baove deal for some extra money.

Hamish Taylor, Mydub farm, Glasgow Road, Denny , Stirlingshire, 01324- 826604

I've got no commercial interest, just posting the add to see it go to a good home

Same here, we´ve first seen this C15A on this forum in '01, so it´s about time we help move it on to a new home. Have passed on the details to someone who´s looking for a C15A.

Any other interesting stuff for sale in your neck of the woods, Gordon?

Cheers,
Hanno

Default Well that depends on your definition of 'interesting' Hanno

Hamish is keeping his MB jeep, but is considering selling his pile of jeep spares, including one very tired chassis, striped axles, axle bits, stripped engine, engine bits, and so on. Not enough to make a jeep out of, but a good pile of original jeep parts in decent condition for someone who already has a jeep or most of the bits.

I think I mentioned in the ad that he also has a stripped Chevrolet engine and intact transmission for sale, I think he has a similar 28 HP Bedford block there too.

I still have the snow blower for sale, although one collector has given me a definite yes to purchasing it a lot of logistics moving will be involved for that and it hasn't happened yet.

I have the makings of a 1941 4 x 2 Dodge half ton pickup here if anyone wants it?

Gordon

After Gordon reposted it here I passed on the info to a friend who was looking for one. I am happy to report that this C15A has now found a good home in The Netherlands!

Default Result all round then

Hamish has now got me trying to find a buyer for his father's Mk1 Ford Granada, but I won't mention that here 'cos it isn't military...

Spray it black and put a star plate on the front. They were used as staff cars in the 80s

Default There's hope for us all yet

He sold it the day after I posted the ad, to a chap from the Borders, who has around 20 Mark 1 Granada's

I think when I had my biggest pile of stuff it was fifteen vehicles - perfectly reasonable, compared with that.
