Windscreen Frames

Euen Mcdonald has loaned me a piece of extruded brass that was made for windscreens years ago.I made a few inquiries and found a place in Clayton called George White, they specialize in brass of all shapes and sizes.Well you would not belive it the exact same extrusion as the sample,$99/3.6M.I cut a sample piece on 45 deg ans silver solder the two angles together.The only hard part is not to melt the brass as the silver is close the the same melt temp as the brass,but the join si as strong as an ox.I have included some photos feel free to have a say.The original frames are 5mm bigger across the flat than the brass but i'm not going to lose sleep over 5mm.
