useles trivia
This is probably a completely useles piece of trivia , anyway.
The No. 11 wireless set was used in various roles including vehicles of different types. The Aust. or Local Pattern version of the set has a little tablet that slides into a special holder on the front panel. Each vehicle type has its own tablet , giving tuning data for a given antenna . I happen to have one for TRUCK 1 ton . I know there are other tablets for MG Carrier and other roles. I believe the official nomenclature for the truck was either : Wireless 1 ton or 1 ton GS van .. so truck 1 Ton is a oddity . Mike
