FOLLOWUP:
It seems whatever's gotten in here is now striking at 15 past the hour, each hour, leading me to suspect it's a buried script somewhere. I'm still working on finding and isolating the little sumbitch, so far without luck. I'll keep you posted, but in the meantime, just mind 15 past each hour! G.
