According to the AEDB Design Record, as quoted in Bill Gregg's 'Blueprint for Victory' (p.118, 1981):

"Canvas came in sand, khaki and brown, depending on the colour of the truck."

However, this has proven to be an ideal situation. Trucks painted Light Stone could be fitted with any colour of canvas available at the production line or at the reassembly depot.
