Axel is too small to be 3 ton. It is about the size of a 1/2 ton

That is the ideal little body to slap the engine out of the Roadrunner into..
The frame ,the body and rod the rest of the running gear..
It would look cool at the Mil Meets..

Speaking as someone who thinks most CMPs should be rescued, I would say go for it. Years from now, you would regret having left it there for the scrappers or Mother Nature.

It looks like there are lots of good parts on it ... if nothing else, 11 and 12 cab doors, especially the driver's side, are scarce.

Keep us posted if you recover it.

With out a doubt worth saving
The c8 are one of the easier ones to get civilian parts (eg.the drivetrain and some chassis components)
The other parts are general cmp
definate bonus are both doors and the elusive wheel adapters
