Hi
What is the max and mininal number off track links that should be in a track ? And does anyone know what this would be for the T16 carrier ? Cheers, Danny |

The T-16 would originally have had eight 21-link sections plus six individual links to be removed over time for adjustment as the track stretched out. So the total from the factory would be 174 links.
Also just checked eBay to see the status of the T-16 that was up for auction. Looks like it got up to about $19,600 and someone new came along and did the buy-it-now for $21,500USD. That vehicle was still mostly in postwar Swiss configuration with the exception of a few minor things having been removed like the armored turn signals. It will end up being a very expensive vehicle once they add on all of the missing lockers, fuel tanks, etc if they plan to restore it properly to WWII configuration. Plus the seller has a note on the listing that it didn't include his spares or tools which the buyer has first refusal on before they are sold elsewhere.

Dave, if the buyer had a copy of the latest Supply Line he could have bought it for the advertised price of $20,400.00. Derek.

Hi Colin,
Production line? Mmmm now thats an idea, seems you are not doing to badly either, sure beats just sitting and letting them rust away,I always reckon if you carnt restore them why just sit on them, Pass them on to someone who will, and that way they are there for future generations to enjoy, Pity that we are not neighbours then we could really stir up the dust, By the way many years ago I used to spend a lot of time down at Two wells on Buckland Park, catching Fallow deer, Regards, ron
