Cheers Barry but it needs to be a mk1 or mk2 bren (universal) preferaby Mk1 as this was what My Grandad drove, it will litterally be a full replica of his carrier when done, plus I have not got a spare £23k lying about for a 1950's swiss config T16

Dirk had only brought the one carrier back over which was around 10k out of my budget unfortunately the stripped one could have been a possibility if he had got it back to Holland

Still searching, the fergus carrier looks like its going to be a none runner, prices to get it back to the UK and then to obtain the Sheet steel outweigh the costs to buy a running item.

anyone wanting to thin out their collections to make some cash let me know.

Richard

Default carrier option

Hi Richard,
Have you found your carrier yet? if not its a pity that you are on the wrong side of the world and upside down to boot, I have one here but its an Aust one its a L P 2, I realise that you are after a English one but thought that I would just advise you,
Regards Ron

still searching Ron.........Don is going to ring me hopefully today or tomorrow to discuss my requirements so he can see what he has in his collection for me. Do you have any pics of the LP2 ? only constraint i can think of is the shipping would be utter pain. unless you seal the hull and paddle her around the world for a case of beer perhaps ?
