No matter how skilled you are public roads have two way traffic,stray animals, Kids on bikes etc. The open road is to unpredictable for such speeds.

Stupid old Fart should know better! we tend to forget it is the old one's in their second or third childhood who are also a danger and not just under 25 year olds.

I worrys me a bit that the Media is linking John and our hobby. We don't need the headlines like TANK HOON on the front of the Herald Sun newspaper yesterday.

Hopefully he will still be driving and able to bring the Alligator to Corowa in March.

Under current legislation, his licence will still be current and usable until his court case later in the year.
Don't think the Judge will have too much sympathy though.

The only reason it's being linked is some bright spark in the media remembered this was the same John Belfield who came to notice and they discovered they had photographs and footage of him from the museum's auction.

Pictures and footage are gold for the media and that combined with the Premier bagging him added up to the silly sensational front cover for the 'HUN' today.

Hopefully this will die down now.
